Environment

Deb and I have slowly started to evaluate our impact on the environment. We’re starting to realize that there are things we can do to help.

Here is what we’ve done to reduce our carbon footprint:

  • Replaced 13 incandescent lights with Compact Fluorescent lights
  • Installed a solar powered motion light over the garage door to shine on the driveway
  • Ordered (will install next week?) a rain capture tank to use for watering the garden and flowers outside
  • Programmed our thermostat to adjust the temperature for when we are home and at night
  • Replacing a HUGE computer with a tiny little thing that uses about as much power as a printer
